CrossWorld missionary Roger was thrilled as he watched the Papuan believers of the Evangelical Church of Indonesia grow spiritually and take initiative in expanding the ministry of the Gospel.

Leaders in the church formed a vision of reaching out to other areas, not only within their own country but also to other nations.

They had already sent believers into Aceh province to try to redeem the devastation and bring suffering people into God's kingdom. As the ministry flourished, they reached farther and began working on agreements with entities in Papua New Guinea and in Israel to send Papuan believers for ministry training.

The leaders also hoped to bring some of the new believers from Aceh to their own church in Papua for deeper training.

Pray that God will make their paths straight, that they would have perseverence in their obedience, and that God would allow them to see the fruit of their missionary service.
