What it is.
A weekend steeped in the rich aroma of native food. Conversations designed to create understanding. Bright colors and the confusion of an ethnic marketplace. Unfamiliar and disconcerting places of worship. Learning. Listening.

What it is not.
NOT a time of confrontational ministry. Not a time to push understanding of where you are coming from. NOT a time to disregard culture because "you are in America." NOT a time to act on your sense of personal freedom.

What you will get.
Enter as a learner, and you will leave the weekend being able to understand a people group a little better. Discuss how to pick up the 12 languages of a culture. Debrief on what we are learning. Begin to love a people and land not your own. Move toward a decision to go and bring the message of the cross, the hope of the world.

Why does CrossWorld do this?

We are a missionary force of 350, all over the world. But we are also a community of disciples who feel privileged to welcome any who are grappling with the many questions involved in going out with the gospel.
