I'm sure you've experienced it. You get your training, you start your work, and before you know it, the day to day tasks fill every hour.
There is little room to reflect. The "margin" in life to step back and get perspective is always in the future. It happens at work, it happens at home, and it happens on the mission field.
Our first ever "All-Asia Conference" will provide inspiration, training, and refreshment for our 25 CrossWorld staff serving in nine locations throughout Asia. All three areas serve to keep the main thing the main thing - both in helping to move things forward and to keep fatigue, discouragement, and isolation from hampering the work.
The result will be more effective missionaries back on the field bringing the gospel to bear in the lives of people - often in lonely and sometimes dangerous places.
It is part of what we mean by "we worship, we love, we go." The All-Asia Conference is a blended expression of worship, mutual encouragement, and strategic focus. It will help us keep the end in view - people coming to Christ and in turn being gospel-bearers who continue the discipleship - as we serve today.
But it comes at a financial cost to the already-stretched budgets of our teams in the field. Consider a gift to underwrite the travel and training expenses of the CrossWorld team. And take part in developing the plan to grow disciples who will carry the gospel forward generation to generation.
