| Description: | Despite incredible poverty and hardship, the Haitian church is beginning to mobilize its own members for missionary work, both within Haiti and also overseas. STEP Theological Seminary is actively involved in training the new generation of Haitian believers to lead this new development. We are seeking a librarian, who will eventually train and mentor a Haitian library director. While teaching, you will have opportunities to come along side one of our teams in Haiti and help them as they reach out to the community. Although French is the official language of Haiti, Creole is most often spoken. For more information on STEP Theological Seminary, check out their website. |
| Project Overview: | CrossWorld missionaries have labored for over 60 years in partnership with the Union of Evangelical Baptist Churches of Haiti (UEBH). More than 300 churches indicate a movement to the glory of God. CrossWorld ministries today are concentrated in theological education (seminary in Port-au- Prince), ministry to the downtrodden, community development and children’s ministries (House of Hope), all in the name of Jesus. |
