| Description: | In this country of incredible poverty and hardship, God is calling people to himself. The need for medical personnel is great, as there are many who are far from medical help or else cannot afford it. CrossWorld is also involved in a home for ill children. We are looking for people with a heart for the hurting and lost, and with medical training and a desire to use your skills to help Haitians both physically and spiritually. Knowledge of French and willingness to learn Creole are helpful. |
| Project Overview: | CrossWorld missionaries have labored for over 60 years in partnership with the Union of Evangelical Baptist Churches of Haiti (UEBH). More than 300 churches indicate a movement to the glory of God. CrossWorld ministries today are concentrated in theological education (seminary in Port-au- Prince), ministry to the downtrodden, community development and children’s ministries (House of Hope), all in the name of Jesus. |
