| Description: | The role of missionaries on the Belem field is to assist the church, and to come alongside and facilitate the expansion of the church led by the national denomination with over 300 churches. Missionaries work with the disadvantaged, teach theological education, focus on unreached peoples and support national evangelists learning cross cultural ministries. All of this serves to develop and grow the church. |
| Project Overview: | CrossWorld missionaries in the north/northeast of Brazil (Belém field) have been used of God to plant churches which have developed into a fellowship of more than 150 churches. We also pioneered work among several indigenous people groups. Other significant ministries include ethnic ministries with Japanese Brazilians, literacy, MK education, radio, street children, theological training. |
