Short and long term missionaries are representatives of the King of kings and as such the following is considered important in qualifying for service. Evaluation comes through resumes, references, transcripts, application forms, personal testimony and testing.

1. A personal experience of salvation and consistent growing walk with Christ.
2. Alignment with CrossWorld’s beliefs, values and policies.
3. Membership and involvement in and support from a local church.
4. A genuine love and interest in people in need of a Savior.
5. A dependency on God for every need
6. Training and experience suitable to the ministry and work abroad.
7. Desire and ability to work in a team, relate to other cultures and be adaptable.
8. High School completion for short-term opportunities; College completion or equivalent vocational requirements depending on ministry, for long-term ministry.
9. Knowledge of the Word of God and ability to use Scripture.
