Extended Ministry
3-24 Months
There are numerous
missionary opportunities, for 3 - 12 months, in which you can help meet
specific needs in a ministry. This longer time period allows you the
opportunity to build meaningful ministry relationships and to be
totally immersed in the cross-cultural experience.
This is a great time to:
- Deepen your relationship with God.
- Know yourself better; your gifts, abilities, weaknesses and areas of interest.
- Put your cross-cultural adaptability to the test.
- Observe missionary teams in action.
- Wrestle with church-planting principles.
- Build meaningful relationships with nationals.
Academic Internships
Internships provide the opportunity to:
- Deepen your relationship with God.
- Know yourself better; your gifts, abilities, weaknesses and areas of interest.
- Put your cross-cultural adaptability to the test.
- Observe missionary teams in action.
- Wrestle with church planting principles.
- Build meaningful relationships with nationals
Two Years and Beyond
The gifts that God has given you can all be used in missions. There are thousands waiting to hear the message of the cross from people like you. Join us in bringing hope to the world.
The
face of missions in the 21st century is becoming more diverse. Global
economics, communications and travel have revealed barriers to
evangelism in many countries around the world. How can economically
privileged North Americans go into all the world and spread the good
news in a cynical and suspicious world? Are you asking yourself,
"Should I go?"
North American believers, whether teachers
or business people or care givers, have an open door. Recently,
CrossWorld 'fielded' physical therapists, entrepreneurs, biologists and
teachers. The integrity of the gospel going forward is not conflicted
when the good news is carried by 'professionals' instead of
'professional preachers.' In fact, many missionaries will tell you that
what they need to plant churches are working people who can lead others
to follow Jesus by their testimony, mercy and lifestyles.
